Think Sideways works at the intersection of learning, behaviour change, and real-world impact.

With more than two decades of experience across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, Chantelle designs and delivers programs for some of Australia's most respected institutions and some of the world's leading organisations.

Her work spans instructional design, change management, facilitation, and program management, often within the same engagement. She is known for work that is clear, useful, and easy to apply, and for client relationships grounded in honesty, accountability, and mutual respect.

Chantelle works with a small portfolio of clients at any one time, ensuring every engagement receives her full attention and expertise. From large-scale, award-winning community investment programs to bespoke work designed for individuals, the scale and sector change but the standard doesn't.

What distinguishes the practice

The work happens
in the space between.

What Chantelle offers

Each engagement is tailored. No templates, nothing off-the-shelf. Just solutions designed for your specific needs.

01

Instructional Design

Crafting learning experiences that centre the core needs of learners, and maximise engagement, improve knowledge retention, and encourage lasting outcomes.

02

Facilitation

Designing and leading conversations that help people think clearly, learn from one another, and make meaningful progress together.

03

Change Management

Helping people make sense of change and find their place within it. Focused on building confidence, creating clarity, and supporting new ways of working to take hold.

04

Project Management

Providing steady oversight for complex pieces of work. Bringing structure, communication, and follow-through so good ideas don't get lost in the process.

05

Management Consulting

Supporting organisations to think through problems clearly, make better decisions, and build the capability to sustain improvement over time.

06

Coaching

Creating space for reflection, challenge, and growth. Supporting people to navigate change, build confidence, and move forward with intention.

How the work gets done

Designed for understanding that leads to action.

I

Start with need, not solution

There's no point beginning until the problem is properly understood. Identifying the actual gap, rather than the assumed one, is the difference between work that lands and work that doesn't.

II

Work with clients, not for them

The best outcomes come from genuine collaboration. Clients bring deep knowledge of their people, challenges, and environment. Chantelle brings expertise in learning, change, and implementation. The work happens in the space between.

III

Designed for real people

Ideas only matter if people use them. Everyone needs a reason to care, the opportunity to practise, and the confidence to meet new expectations.

IV

Designed for real-world outcomes

No solution exists in isolation. Context shapes everything. Whether designing, facilitating, advising, or supporting delivery, the focus is on what holds up where it's actually used.

V

Measure what matters

Completion, attendance, and satisfaction are signals, not outcomes. The real measure is whether people think differently, work differently, or achieve better outcomes as a result of the initiative.

"The measure of good design isn't how clever the solution is. It's whether the initiative achieves its outcomes and the client recognises their vision in what was built."

What people say

"Chantelle is adaptable and creative. She's 100% committed to getting the best outcome. Her strong skills in written communication and content design helped us bring abstract concepts to life through activities, humour and metaphors. She's a pleasure to work with."
Dr Emily Heath Director, EY CCaSS
"Chantelle's work is truly excellent. I love the insight, the care and the passion that is evident in her work. She told me she would treat our company like it was her own — and she did."
